Short Description : West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti is going to recruit 2,151 male & female persons for the posts of ‘Staff Nurse’, ‘Pharmacist’ and ‘Medical Officer’ on contractual basis under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Kariyakram (RBSK).
Detail Description :

Post : Staff Nurse.
Female candidates, who have passed General Nursing & Midwifery Training Course from any Institute recognised by Indian Nursing Council are eligible for the post. In addition to this, candidates should have to be registered with Indian Nursing Council. Consolidated remuneration is Rs.17,220/- p.m. Number of vacancy is 746 (Gen : 410, SC : 164, ST : 45, OBC-A : 75, OBC-B : 52), out of which PWD : 23.
Post : Pharmacist.
Candidates, who have passed 2-years’ Diploma Course in Pharmacy (Allopathic) from any Institute recognised by Pharmacy Council of India / AICTE are eligible for the post. In addition to this, candidates should have to be registered with Pharmacy Council of India. Consolidated remuneration is Rs.16,860/- p.m. Number of vacancy is 441 (Gen : 242, SC : 98, ST : 26, OBC-A : 44, OBC-B : 31), out of which PWD : 13.
Post : Medical Officer (Ayush).
Graduates in Homeopathic Medicine ( B.H.M.S.) / Ayurvedic Medicine (B.A.M.S.) / Unani Medicine (B.U.M.S.) from any recognised Institute are eligible for the post. Number of vacancy is 964 (Gen : 524, SC : 199, ST : 82, OBC-A : 88, OBC-B : 62), out of which PWD : 27.
For all posts : Candidates should have to be permanent resident of West Bengal and should have the proficiency in reading, writing & speaking in Bengali language. Age should have to be within 40 years as on 01.10.2013. SC / ST / OBC candidates will get relaxation in age as per the Govt. rules.

 

Mode of Selection : Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination as mentioned above. For the post of ‘Pharmacist’, Graduates / Post Graduates in Pharmacy from any Institute recognised by Pharmacy Council of India / AICTE, will be given additional marks. Also for the post of ‘Medical Officer (AYUSH)’, Post Graduates in the Homeopathic Medicine / Ayurvedic Medicine / Unani Medicine, will be given additional marks. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
How to Apply : Candidates should have to apply on-line through this website : www.wbhealth.gov.in within 06.01.2014. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID, which should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment process. Before applying on-line, candidate should have to collect a Demand Draft of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / PWD) for the post of ‘Medical Officer’ OR Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / PWD) for ‘Other’ posts as Application Fee drawn from any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti’ payable at ‘Service Branch, Kolkata’. Candidate should have mention his / her On-line Registration Number, Date of Birth, Name, Guardian’s Name & Caste on the back side of the Demand Draft. After that, candidates should have to visit the website & to go through the detailed recruitment notification, which is available under the ‘Recruitment’ link.
Afterwards, candidate will have to open the appropriate on-line Application Form & to fill in all the required fields. Candidate will also have to upload his / her passport size recent photograph & signature in specific digital format. There after, candidate should have to verify the data, he / she put in the on-line Application Form. After the verification, Application should have to be submitted by clicking ‘Submit’ Button. After that, candidates are required to obtain 1 copy of the print-out of the Computerised System Generated Application Form containing a unique Registration Number. The print-out of the on-line Application Form should have to be self-attested mentioning the date also. The print-out of the on-line Application Form should have to be superscribed with the candidate’s ‘On-line Registration Number, Date of Birth, Name, Guardian’s Name & Caste’.
