Serial No. 1 : Trackman in Engineering Department.Medical Standard is B-1. Number of vacancy is 423 (UR : 214, SC : 63, ST : 32, OBC : 114).Serial No. 2 : Traffic Khalasi / Pointsman in Operating Department.

| Mode of Selection : | Selection will be made on the basis of Written Examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test. The Written Examination of 90 minutes duration will consist of Multiple Choice Objective Type questions based on the syllabus of 10th standard covering the following 4 subjects : (i) General Knowledge & Awareness, (ii) Mathematics, (iii) Reasoning & (iv) General Science. There will be negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer. The language of the question paper will be in English / Hindi / Urdu / Punjabi / Gujarati language. Qualified candidates in the Written Examination, will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In the case of male candidates, the PET will consist of 1000 metres run, to be completed within 4 minutes & 15 seconds. But for female candidates, the PET will consist of 400 metres run to be completed within 3 minutes & 10 seconds. PET will not be conducted for PH candidates. Selected candidates will have to undergo Medical Examination. The date, time & venue of the Written Examination & PET will be intimated in due course. | |||
| How to Apply : | Candidates may apply through on-line as well as through off-line mode. In case of on-line mode, candidates should have to apply on-line through this website : www.iroams.com or www.nwr.indianrailways.gov.in within 13.01.2014. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID, which should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment process. Before applying on-line, candidates should have to visit the website & go through the detailed recruitment notification. Afterwards, candidates should have to open the appropriate on-line Application Form & to fill in all the requisite fields. After that, candidate will have to verify the data, what he / she put in the Application Form. After the verification, Application should have to be submitted by clicking ‘Submit’ Button. After the submission of the on-line Application Form, candidates are required to obtain 1 copy of the print-out of the Computerised System Generated Application Form containing a unique Registration Number, which will have to make entry at the time of downloading the ‘Fee Payment Challan Form’. After downloading the Challan Form, candidates should have to submit the ‘Fee Payment Challan Form’ along with Rs.100/- as Application Fees in any branch of the State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / Post Office. No fee is required for the female candidates & candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / EXSM / Minority Community & Economically Backward Class candidates having annual family income less than of Rs.50,000/-. After that, candidates should have to collect the counterfoil of the ‘Fee Payment Challan’ from the branch containing all particulars. In case of off-line mode, candidates should have to apply on plain A-4 size paper as per the format given the website mentioned above. The duly filled in Application should have to be enclosed with the following documents : (1) Attested photostat copies of all Certificates & Mark Sheets in support of Date of Birth, Educational Qualification, Caste (for SC / ST / OBC), Disability (for PWD), Discharge (for EXSM), Experience (if any), (2) Attested photostat copy of requisite certificate in case of candidates claiming any other type of age relaxation, (3) Income Certificate in case of Economically Backward Class candidates, (4) Self Declaration for the candidates belonging to Minority Community, (5) Crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs.100/- as Application Fee drawn in favour of ‘Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, NWR, Jaipur’ payable at ‘Jaipur’. No fee is required for the female candidates & candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / EXSM / Minority Community and the Economically Backward Class candidates having annual family income less than of Rs.50,000/-. Candidate should have to mention his / her Name, Employment Notification No. & Address on the space provided in the Indian Postal Order. The envelope containing the duly filled in application should have to be superscribed in Bold letters as ‘Application for Recruitment to posts in pay band – 1 with grade pay of 1,800/- in North Western Railway’.
