Qualification Required
for Eastern Railway, Kolkata 4179 Helper II/Khalasi, Porter, Gateman, Trackman/ Khalasi/Valve man etc.: Candidates should be Madhyamik pass or ITI or equivalent. Candidates waiting result should not apply.
Age limits for these posts of railway recruitment: 18yrs to 33yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and PWD—10yrs.
Pay scale for these posts of railway recruitment: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay: Rs.1800
Examination Fee for these posts of railway recruitment: candidates should pay Examination fee of Rs.40 in form of Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favor of “Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway” payable at “KOLKATA”.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD (PH), Women, Minority Communities and Economically Backward Classes/Sections are exempted from payment of examination fees.
