Post : Fitter General. Number of vacancy is 53 (UR : 25, SC : 07, ST : 12, OBC : 09), out of which OH : 02, HH : 02, VH : 01, EXSM : 05.
Post : Fitter Instrument. Number of vacancy is 01 (UR).
Post : Grinder. Number of vacancy is 10 (UR : 07, ST : 03), out of which OH : 02, HH : 02, EXSM : 01.
Post : Machinist. Number of vacancy is 137 (UR : 70, SC : 19, ST : 29, OBC : 19), out of which OH : 01, HH : 01, EXSM : 14.
Post : Mason. Number of vacancy is 01 (UR).
Post : Millwright. Number of vacancy is 11 (UR : 04, SC : 01, ST : 04, OBC : 02), out of which EXSM : 01.
Post : Painter. Number of vacancy is 06 (UR : 02, SC : 01, ST : 03).
Post : Turner. Number of vacancy is 39 (UR : 21, SC : 05, ST : 07, OBC : 06), out of which EXSM : 04.
Post : Welder. Number of vacancy is 12 (UR : 07, SC : 01, ST : 02, OBC : 02), out of which EXSM : 01.
Educational qualification for the above mentioned posts : Matriculates or its equivalent (Class X) of any recognised Board, who have passed Certificate course of ‘National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)’ i.e. possessed National Apprentice Certificate / National Trade Certificate or have passed Trade Certificate Course from any recognised I.T.I. in Fitter General / Fitter Instrument / Grinder / Machinist / Mason / Millwright / Painter / Turner / Welder trade or its equivalent Diploma / Certificate are eligible to apply in respective trade.
Post : Examiner Engineer.
Matriculates (Class X), who have passed Certificate Course of ‘National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)’ i.e. possessed National Apprentice Certificate / National Trade Certificate or have passed Trade Certificate Course from any recognised I.T.I. in Fitter General / Machinist / Welder / Turner / Millwright / Machinist Grinder / Information Technology & Electronic System Maintenance (IT & ESM) / Programming and System Administration Assistant (PASAA) trade are eligible for the post. Number of vacancy is 13 (UR : 07, SC : 02, ST : 02, OBC : 02), out of which EXSM : 01.
Post : Fitter Automobile.
Matriculates (Class X), who have passed Certificate Course of ‘National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)’ i.e. possessed National Apprentice Certificate / National Trade Certificate or have passed Trade Certificate Course from any recognised I.T.I. in Fitter Automobile / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Mechanic (Diesel) / Mechanic Automobile (Advanced Petrol Engine) / Mechanic Automobile (Advanced Diesel Engine) / Tractor Mechanic trade are eligible for the post. Number of vacancy is 41 (UR : 18, SC : 07, ST : 08, OBC : 08), out of which EXSM : 04.
Post : Fitter Electric.
Matriculates (Class X), who have passed Certificate Course of ‘National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)’ i.e. possessed National Apprentice Certificate / National Trade Certificate or have passed Trade Certificate Course from any recognised I.T.I. in Fitter Electric / Mechanic Auto Electronics / Electrician trade are eligible for the post. Number of vacancy is 02 (ST).
Post : Miller.
Matriculates (Class X), who have passed Certificate Course of ‘National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)’ i.e. possessed National Apprentice Certificate / National Trade Certificate or have passed Trade Certificate Course from any recognised I.T.I. in Miller / Machinist / Turner trade are eligible for the post. Number of vacancy is 15 (UR : 09, SC : 01, ST : 04, OBC : 01), out of which EXSM : 02.
Candidates, who have passed Diploma / Degree course in Engineering are not eligible. Age should have to be between 18 and 32 years as on 07.01.2014. Candidates belonging to OBC & SC / ST category will get relaxation in age by 3 years & 5 years respectively. Ex-Servicemen & PH candidates will get exemption in age as per the Govt. Rules. Scale of Pay is Rs. 5,200/- – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800/-.

Mode of Selection :

Selection will be made on the basis of Written Test followed by Trade Test (Practical). The Written Test of 100 marks will consist of multiple choice objective type questions (OMR based) covering the syllabus of the relevant Trades mentioned above as per NCVT examination. Candidates should have to secure at least 45% (30% for PWD / EXSM; 35% for SC / ST; 40% for OBC) marks in aggregate to qualify in Written Test. Qualified candidates in the Written Test will be called for Trade (Practical) Test. The Trade Test will be qualifying in nature. The date, time & venue of the test will be intimated in due course.

Candidates should have to apply on-line through this website : www.vfj.nic.in within 07.01.2014. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID, which should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment process. Before applying on-line, candidates should have to go through the detailed recruitment notification, which is available under the link ‘Recruitment ® Semi Skilled Tradesman ® Apply Online Application’, of the website. Afterwards, candidates should have to open the appropriate on-line Application Form. At the time of applying on-line, candidate should have to fill in all the required fields and upload his / her passport size recent coloured photograph & signature in .jpg format in such a way, so that the file size should not exceed than 30 KB and 10 KB respectively. Candidates should also have to remit Rs.50/- as Application Fee through on-line payment gateway by using Debit / Credit Card. No fee is required for the female candidates & the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / EXSM category. After that, candidate will have to verify the data, what he / she put in the Application Form. After the verification, Application should have to be submitted by clicking ‘Submit’ Button. After that, candidates are required to obtain 1 copy of the print-out of the Computerised System Generated Application Form.
