Purvanchal Bank is recruiting 242 Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the Bank’s website (see URL below). Candidates who have appeared at the Online CWE III for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/ October 2014 and declared qualified may apply. PURVANCHAL BANK INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 242 POSTS OF OFFICER AND OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE). LAST DATE – 31/03/2015

1. Officer Scale-I: 77 Nos. (SC-16; ST-1; OBC-20 & Gen-40) Out of total vacancies 2 for reserved PWD

Pay Scale: Rs.14500/- to Rs.25700/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

2. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 165 Nos. (SC-34; ST-02; OBC-44 & Gen-85) Out of total vacancies 5 for reserved PWD and 24 for reserved EXS

Pay Scale: Rs.7200/- to Rs.19300/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

Eligibility Criteria is to be considered as per RRBs CWE-III Advertisement published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar Issue Dated 28th June–4th July, 2014 released by IBPS and posted on the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in.

The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/UT i.e. Hindi and shall have studied Hindi as a subject at 10th Class or upto Graduation Level.

Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- CWE-III conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2014 and Personal Interview.
The Interview will be held at the Gorakhpur centre. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- (Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXS) through CBS at any of the Branches of Purvanchal Bank or State Bank of India by means of a Payment challan. See officially released advertisement for more details.
