Applications are invited for invited for filling-up of following posts under the District Child Protection unit, Paschim Medinipur on contractual basis for a maximum period of one year.

Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduate in Law
Other required Qualification: Knowledge in computer Operation & 3 years experience in the field of child welfare
Consolidated remuneration: Rs. 21000 Per month
Serial No. 2
Name of the post: Social Worker
No. of Post: 02; One reserved for SC. At least one of the two posts will be filled up from among women
Age on 01.01.2015: 18-45 years
Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduate, preferably in Social Work/ Psychology / Sociology
Other required Qualification: Knowledge in child Psychology is preferable, at least 2 years experience in the field of Child Development / Counselling
Consolidated remuneration: Rs. 14000 Per month

Age on 01.01.2015: 18-45 years
Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduate in Computer Application
Other required Qualification: At least one year experience in the relevant field.

Recruitment process:
All the eligible intending candidates have to submit their Application Form only through on-line in the District website (i.e. https://www.paschimmedinipur.gov.in ). After on-line submission, the candidates must submit hard copy of application along with Acknowledgement slip and all required documents either through registered post or directly to the District Child Protection Unit under Social Welfare section, Collectorate, P.O. – Midnapore, Dist – Paschim Medinipur, Pin. – 721101, West Bengal.
Syllabus:
a) Written test of 80 marks.
Legal cum Probation Officer: Social Legislation (IPC, CrPC & laws relating to Protection of Child Rights, JJ Act, POCSO Act & Welfare of Children) – 40 marks, Arithmetic – 10 marks, G.K. – 10 marks, English – 10 marks, Bengali – 10 marks.
Social Worker: Sociology / Social Work – 30 marks, Arithmetic – 10 marks, G.K. – 15 marks, English – 15 marks, Bengali – 10 marks.
Data Analyst: Computer theory (Common Software relating to Data Entry, Data Management and Data Transmission) – 30 marks, Arithmetic – 10 marks, G.K. – 15 marks, English – 15 marks, Bengali – 10 marks.
b) Computer test of 10 marks (for all posts)
c) A viva voce of 10 marks of successful candidates in the written-test in the ratio of 1:5 (for all posts)
Last date of on-line submission of application: 31st August, 2015.
Last date of receipt of hard copy along with other required certificates: 10th September, 2015 upto 5p.m.
The submitted application forms will be scrutinized. The eligible candidates will then be issued Admit Card on-line and they will be able to download their Admit Card from above mentioned website, where in date & venue of test will be mentioned.
