| Mode of Selection : | Selection will be made on the basis of Written Test followed by Personal Interview. The Written Test will be held tentatively on 23rd February, 2014 at Bhubaneswar. The Written test will comprise of multiple choice objective type questions on the following 2 sections : (i) General Aptitude & (ii) Subject knowledge. The General Aptitude Section will consist of questions on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Test, where as the Subject Knowledge section will consist of theoretical & practical aspect of the respective discipline. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answer. Qualified candidates in the Written Test will be called for Interview. Candidates should have to download the Admit Card containing the date, time & venue of the test from the website mentioned below in due course. Selected candidates will have to undergo training for a period of 1 year. During this training period, candidates will get consolidated stipend of Rs.6,000/- p.m. On successful completion of this training, candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of Rs.5,200/- – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2,100/-. | |||
| How to Apply : | Candidates should have to apply on-line through this website : www.optcl.co.in within 16.01.2014. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID, which should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment process. Before applying on-line, candidate should have to go through the detailed recruitment notification by clicking on the link ‘Career ® Current Openings ® Advertisement For the post of JMOT & JTTT’. After that, candidate should have to register his / her name by providing the basic details. Afterwards, candidate will receive a unique password through his / her registered e-mail ID. There after, candidates will have to open the appropriate on-line Application Form by entering that password. Afterwards, candidate will have to fill in all the required fields & upload his / her passport size recent coloured photograph & signature in .jpg format in such a way, so that the file size should not exceed than 100 KB & 30 KB respectively. After that, candidates should have to take a print-out of the ‘Fee Payment Challan’. Afterwards, candidates will have to submit that ‘Fee Payment Challan’ along with Rs.220/- (Rs.20/- for SC / ST of Odisha / PH) as Application Fee & Bank Charges in any branches of the State Bank of India in Power Jyoti A/c No. 33511295137 within 15.01.2014. After that, candidates should have to collect the counterfoil of the ‘Fee Payment Challan’ from the branch containing all particulars. After payment of the Application Fee, candidate should have to verify the data, he / she put in the on-line Application Form. After the verification, Application should have to be submitted by clicking ‘Submit’ Button. There after, candidates are required to obtain 1 copy of the print-out of the Computerised System Generated Application Form, containing a unique registration number & password. The print-out of the on-line Registration Slip should have to be enclosed with the following documents : (1) Attested photostat copies of all Certificates & Mark Sheets in support of Date of Birth, Educational Qualification, Caste (for SC / ST / SEBC), Discharge (for EXSM), Disability (for PWD), (2) Counterfoil of the ‘Fee Payment Challan’. The envelope containing the print-out of the Registration Slip should have to be superscribed as ‘Application for the post of jmot / jttt’.
