ADMISSION TO MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES (MP)-OPENMAT-XXXVIII, BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (B.Ed) AND POST BASIC B.Sc. NURSING (OPENNET-V) PROGRAMMES-2016
The University will be admitting students for the Programmes mentioned below starting from January 2016 through Entrance Test to be held on Sunday, the 20th September, 2015 all over the country.
MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME (MP)
IGNOU invites applications for the following Degree/ Diploma Programmes in Management :
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Diploma in Management (DIM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDFM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP)
All the above programmes have multi-media design, and technology aided delivery systems. These are offered through countrywide network of study Centre.
Eligibility for Admission:
1. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for General Category / 45% for Reserved Category, with 3 years + managerial/supervisory /professional experience.
OR
Professional Degree with 50% marks in Engineering /Medicine/ Chartered Accountancy (ICAO / Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWAI)/ Company Secretaryship (ICSI) / Law.
2. Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU.
Walk in Admission :
Candidates who qualify Entrance Test can submit the registration form (Form-2),
available in the ‘Student Handbook & Prospectus’ along with the hall ticket of the
Entrance Test, to the respective Regional Centres along with the required fee on
any day after the receipt of result card, but not later then 30th November, 2015 for
admission cycles starting from January. 2016.
BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (B.Ed) PROGRAMME
The B.Ed. Programme offered by IGNOU is an innovative programme self instructional materials and information technology along with interactive personal contact programmes. The programme is essentially a judicious mix of theoretical and practical courses to develop in a practicing teacher appropriate knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes. The B. Ed Programme of IGNOU is recognized by the NCTE vide their Letter No. F3/DL-83/99/7807-7812 dated 31.05.1999 and is offered in NOTE approved B.Ed Training Colleges of Education in the country.
Duration : 2 years
Medium of Instruction: English & Hindi
Eligibility for Admission 1. (a) Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity/commerce. Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with Specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
AND
(b) (i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education
.OR
(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
2. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layeryPWD and other categories shall be as per the rule of the Central Government/State Government, whichever is applicable.
POST BASIC B. Sc. NURSING PROGRAMME (OPENNET-V)
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is a degree programme of three years, duration for in-service diploma holder Nurses.The Programme is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Admission will be done through an Entrance Examination (OPENNET-V) to be conducted on Sunday, the 20th September, 2015. Medium of Instruction: English.
Eligibility for Admission
In-service Nurses, that is Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) having 10+2 with three years, Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum of two years experience in the profession, (For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme should have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months, duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).
OR
In-service Nurses (RNRM) having 10th class (Matriculation) or its equivalent with three year, Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum of five years experience in the profession. (For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme should have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 month, duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery). Reservation policy as per GOI.
Availability of Student Handbook & Prospectus:-
B.Ed Programme-(Only electronic version of the Student Handbook & Prospectus is available). Student Handbook & Prospectus can only be obtained from the IGNOU website (www.ignou.ac.in). The candidates can download the same from the website and submit the filled in application form towards the Entrance Test along with a requisite fee of Rs.1,000/- for B.Ed programme drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at JANGIPUR OR RAGHUNATHGANJ.
Management Programme & Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Programmes –
“Student Handbook & Prospectus for the Programmes can be obtained from the Director, (SSC), IGNOU. Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 or from any Regional Centre of IGNOU by sending a sum of Rs.1,050/- through a Demand Draft in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/city of Regional Centre concerned or by paying Rs.1,000/- in cash at the respective sales counters. Please write your name and address on the back of the DD. Last date for receipt of request for ‘PROSPECTUS’ by post is 10thAugust, 2015.
Last Date of submitting the filled in application form is 20th August, 2015.

Note:
(1)The eligibility and the admission shall be confirmed strictly as per the detailed guidelines issued by IGNOU (available in IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in)
(2) MP & Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programmes are not on offer in1GNOU Regional Centre Raghunathganj.
(3) There is no age bar for admission to the above Programmes. The University reserves the right to grant/ deny admission to any candidate.
