Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kalyani invites applications from Indian nationals for the following full-time positions of the Institute:
1) Associate Professor (Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology) : 2 posts (UR)
2) Assistant Professor (Physics-1 post, Mathematics-1 post, Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology – 3 posts) : 5 posts (04-UR, 01-OBC)
3) Junior Assistant : 1 post (UR)
4) Technical Assistant : 2 posts (UR)
GENERAL INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:
1) Candidates applying for more than one Department and/or position are required to use separate application form.
2) Each application should be sent separately in sealed envelop superscribing the same with “APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF” and the “Advertisement Number and Date”
3) Without any compromise on the qualification, experience and competence, reservation as Government of India norms is applicable. Candidates belonging to OBC categories should attach certificate obtained from Competent Authority as per Govt. of India notification.
4) Experienced and meritorious candidates may be granted higher scale and/or higher starting pay on recommendation of Selection Committee.
5) Minimum requirement of experience may be relaxed for outstanding candidates.
6) Candidates working in Government Institutions are required to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) at the time of Interview.
7) Mere fulfilment of required qualifications and experience etc. does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview/selection. The Institute reserves the right to consider and fill or not fill any of the positions.
8) The Institute reserves the right to set short listing criteria higher than the minimum advertised, and restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience, higher than those prescribed in this advertisement.
9) All Degree Certificates should be from a recognized University/Institute.
10) Candidates will have to appear for Selection test/Interview at their own cost, if called before a Selection Committee. The date and venue of which will be separately notified to the candidates.
11) Selected candidates should be prepared to join duty within the time granted.
12) Each application should accompany a DD of Rs. 1000/- only towards application fee favouring Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kalyani and payable at Kalyani.
13) The candidates are required to send the following enclosures : a) Certificate of Proof if the candidate belongs to OBC Category. b) Xerox copies of all testimonials /mark sheets (separate for each examination) / certificates.
14) The candidates must not send any other enclosures except the ones mentioned at (12) and (13) above and as have been asked against point (18)(1) of the application form
HOW TO APPLY
The prescribed application form may be downloaded from the website, duly filled in, signed and be sent along with necessary enclosures to the following address so as to reach by 16.10.15 without fail. The Institute will not undertake any responsibility for any delay due to any reason whatsoever.
