Indian Air force invites male candidates of West Bengal and Sikkim for Airman. Rally from 21/03 to 26/03/2015

Indian Air force is inviting unmarried Male eligible candidates from the designated Districts of State of West Bengal and from all the districts of State of Sikkim for Group X (Technical Trades) and Group Y for (Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police) Trades). Interested and eligible candidates may appear for the recruitment Rally at Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal. Educational Qualification and other norms in brief for informational purpose is given below—

INDIAN AIR FORCE INVITES UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES FOR RECRUITMENT RALLY TO JOIN THE ARMY AS AIRMAN. RALLY FROM 21 MARCH TO 26 MARCH, 2015.

GROUP X (TECHNICAL) TRADES
Educational Qualification: 12th passed with Mathematics, Physics and English with 50% marks and 50% marks in English.
OR
3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from Polytechnic with 50% marks and also 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.

GROUP Y [(AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN), GTI AND IAF (P)] TRADES
Educational Qualification: 12th passed with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
2 years Vocational Course with 50% marks in aggregate and also 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Inter-mediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Name of the District to be covered/ Candidates residing in the following district of WEST BENGAL may appear for the Recruitment Rally. Note: Candidates from all districts of State SIKKIM may appear for this Rally.

HOWRAH, WEST MIDNAPUR, BANKURA, MALDA, BURDHWAN, EAST MIDNAPUR, COOCH BIHAR, PURULIA, JALPAIGURI, DARJELING, SOUTH DINAJPUR, NORTH DINAJPUR, HOOGLY, ALIPURDUAR and NORTH 24 PARGANAS.
AND ALL DISTRICTS OF STATE SIKKIM.

PAY SCALE & STIPEND:

(I) For GROUP X (TECH): During training, a stipend of Rs.11400/- per month. After completion training candidates get their salary of Rs.24900/- to Rs.43940/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

(II) For GROUP Y: During training, a stipend of Rs.11400/- per month. After completion training candidates get their salary of Rs.20500/- to Rs.38720/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

Age Limit (for both posts): Candidates should be born between 01 August 1995 to 30 November 1998. Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.

Candidates should meet the prescribed Physical Standards (Height/ Weight/ Chest, etc) as outlined in the released advertisement (See PDF file below)

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Document Verification, Written Test, PFT, Interview and Medical Test. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades and Group ‘Y’ {For Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police)} Trades will be held at – 4 Airmen Selection Centre (Near Palta Gate), Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal – 743122 from 21 March 2015 to 26 March 2015
