Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is inviting application for 38 posts of – Assistant Law Officer, Assistant, Jr. Scientific Assistant, Lower Division Clerk, Jr. Technician, Driver, Data Processing Assistant, Senior Laboratory Assistant, Jr. Laboratory Assistant and Sr. Technician. 1. Assistant Law Officer: 2 posts (UR)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized University / Institution and should be a qualified legal practitioner.
Age: maximum 35yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4600/-

2. Assistant: 3 posts. (UR)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree and experience of minimum 03yrs in relevant field AND shall posses typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
Age: maximum 30yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

3. Junior Scientific Assistant: 02 posts. (UR—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Degree in Science with 4yrs experience in the field preferably in pollution control and related subject.
Age: maximum 30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

4. Lower Division Clerk: 12 posts. (UR—5; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—4)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree and shall posses typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
Age: 18—25yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

5. Junior Technician: 1 post (OBC)
Qualification: Class 10 pass and shall possess ITI in the trade of Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics. Applicant should possess 3yrs of experience in servicing laboratory machines in an organization/institution of repute.
Age: 18—25yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-

6. Driver (Ordinary): 03 posts. (SC—1; OBC—1; UR—1)
Qualification: Class 8 pass and should posses valid driving license for driving both light and heavy vehicles. Candidates shall have knowledge of motor mechanism AND atleast 3yrs experience of driving a light or heavy vehicles. Desirable—Class 10 pass and 3yrs service as Home Guard/ Civil Volunteer is desirable.
Age: maximum 25yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

7. Data Processing Assistant: 3 posts.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application or Degree in any other discipline with Diploma in Computer application. Desirable—Experience in the field is desirable.
Age: maximum 30yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

8. Senior Laboratory Assistant: 3 posts. (UR—3; OBC—1)
Qualification: Class 12 pass. Desirable – Degree in Science is desirable.
Age: 18—25yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

9. Junior Laboratory Assistant: 3 posts. (UR—2; OBC—1)
Qualification: Class 12 pass with Science subjects. Desirable—Degree in Science is desirable
Age: 18—25yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

10. Senior Technician: 4 posts. (UR—3; OBC—1)
Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering. Desirable—One year experience in the field is desirable.
Age: maximum 30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

The upper age limit indicated above is for candidates belonging to General Category. Age will be counted as on 30/03/2015. The upper age limit relaxation for reserved category is as per Govt. norms.
