Graduates in Commerce discipline of any recognised University are eligible for the post. Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost & Works Accountant may also apply. Basic knowledge in computer operation is desirable. Candidates should have proficiency in reading, writing & speaking in Bengali language (Nepali language for 3 Hill Subdivisions of Darjeeling district). Candidates should also have good health & character. Age should be between 21 and 32 years as on 01.01.2013 that means candidates should have been born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.1992. Candidates belonging to BC-A / BC-B & SC / ST category will get relaxation in age by 3 years & 5 years respectively. PH candidates will get exemption in age as per the Govt. Rules. Scale of pay is Rs.15,600/- – 42,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-. Number of vacancy is 175 (UR : 90, SC : 38, ST : 10, BC-A : 17, BC-B : 12, PH : 08).

| Mode of Selection : | Selection will be made on the basis of ‘West Bengal Audit & Accounts Service (Special Recruitment), Examination – 2013’, to be conducted by Public Service Commission, West Bengal. The Written Exam will be held tentatively in the month of March, 2014 at Kolkata & Siliguri. The Written Exam will comprise of objective type questions. The syllabus of the examination will be available on the website mentioned below. Qualified candidates will be called for Personality Test followed by Document Verification. The date, time & venue of the test & interview will be intimated in due course. | |||
| How to Apply : | Candidates should have to apply on-line through this website : www.pscwbonline.gov.in within 24.01.2014. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID, which should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment process. Before applying on-line, candidate should have to register his / her name by providing the basic details. Afterwards, candidates will receive a unique password through their registered e-mail ID. There after, candidate will have to open the appropriate on-line Application Form by entering that password. Afterwards, candidate will have to fill in all the required fields & upload his / her passport size recent coloured photograph & signature in .jpg format in such a way so that each file size should not exceed than 20 KB & 50 KB respectively. After that, candidate should have to verify the data, he / she put in the on-line Application Form. After the verification, Application should have to be submitted by clicking ‘Submit’ Button. Afterwards, candidates will have to take a print-out of the ‘Fee Payment Challan’ from the website mentioned above. There after, candidates should have to submit the ‘Fee Payment Challan’ along with Rs.210/- as Application Fee in any branches of the State Bank of India within 20.01.2014. No fee is required for the candidates belonging to SC /ST category of West Bengal and PWD candidates. After that, candidates will have to collect a Journal Number from the branch containing all particulars. After the payment of the Application Fee, candidates will have to revisit the website & to fill up the ‘Journal Number’ column. Afterwards, candidates are required to obtain 1 copy of the print-out of the Computerised System Generated Application Form, which will have to retain for future purpose. Last date for the submission of the on-line Application is 24th January, 2014.
