ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY AT SPORTS STADIUM, RAIGANJ, UTTAR DINAJPUR BY ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE SILIGURI FROM 10 MARCH TO 16 MARCH 2015.

NAME OF THE POSTS/TRADES AND AGE LIMITS:

1. Soldier General Duty
2. Soldier Technical
3. Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner)
4. Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant)
5. Soldier Clerk & Store Keeper Technical

AGE LIMIT (DATE OF BIRTH):
(i) For Soldier General Duty: Candidates must have born between 10 March 1994 and 10 Sept 1997
(ii) For rest of all Posts: Candidates must have born between 10 March 1992 and 10 Sept 1997

DISTRICT COVERED:
Only candidates belonging to districts listed below (along with the name of the posts) are eligible to take part in the Recruitment Rally.

(i) For All Categories [Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Clerk/Soldier Store Keeper Technical (AIAC)]: All Candidates from districts – Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur and Malda Only,

(ii) For Soldier General Duty Indian Gorkha (Fixed Class) only: Only Indian Gorkah candidates from districts – Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur, Malda, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Darjeeling and Coochbehar may apply.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

(1) Solder General Duty:
Class 10 pass with minimum 45% aggregate marks & 33% marks in each subject (Candidate having higher qualification need not have 45% marks in 10th class).
Class 10 pass only in case of Indian Gorkha
Class VIII pass in case of ST candidates and Hill Tribes.

(2) Soldier Clerk/ Storekeeper (AIAC):
10+2 (HS) Pass from any stream (Arts/Commerce/Science) with Minimum 50% aggregate marks & 40% Marks in each subject.
Candidates should have studied English and Maths/Book Keeping/ Accountancy in 10th or 12th class with minimum 40% marks in these subjects. OR Graduation simple pass (with English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping) OR Graduation (without English and Math/Accts/ Book Keeping) with minmum 40% marks in English & Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at least once in 10th or 12th Class/Standards.

(3) Soldier Technical:
10+2/HS/Intermediate simple pass (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 45 % marks in aggregate).
OR
10th Class pass with min 50 % marks in aggregate if 3 yrs Diploma in Engg from an AICTE recognized institute.

(4) Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner):
10+2/HS/Intermediate pass in Science with English, Maths, Physics & Chemistry, as compulsory subjects with minimum 50 % in Aggregae and 40 % Marks in each subject.
OR
Three years Diploma in Engineering Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Automobile) from recognized Polytechnic/ Institute.

(5) Soldier Nursing Assistant (NA)/ Veterinary Assistant:
Class 12 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each following compulsory subject – Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology
In case of graduate degree having B.Sc degree (Botany/Zoology/Bio Science and English (Simple pass), the stipulation of percentage as mentioned above in Class 12 is not required. However, the candidate should have studied all the four subjects in Class 12 also.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS (applicable to all above Trades/Categories):
(i) For Indian Gorkha: Height—157cms; Weight—48Kgs minimum; Chest (Unexpanded/ expanded)—77/82 cms.

(ii) For Scheduled Tribe (ST): Height—162cms; Weight—48Kgs minimum; Chest (Unexpanded/ expanded)—77/82 cms.

(iii) For Hill Tribes: Height—160cms; Weight—48Kgs minimum; Chest (Unexpanded/ expanded)—77/82 cms.

(iv) For all Others (Unreserved/SC/OBC/Etc): Height—169cms; Weight—50Kgs minimum; Chest (Unexpanded/ expanded)—77/82 cms.
Relaxation/ cut-off in Physical Standards for Son Ex-Servicemen, War widow, widow, Meritorious Sportsperson will be as per norms. See officially released advertisement for more details.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

Candidates should bring all the documents/testimonials in support of eligibility such as Qualification certificate, Mark sheet, Domicile/Residential certificate, Age proof certificate, Caste certificate and Etc., in three sets of attested Xerox copies along with originals. Candidates must also bring 25 copies of unattested passport size colour photographs with negative & white background. (Note: Computerized photographs will not be accepted).
