The PGP refers to the ISB’s full-time one-year residential Post Graduate Programme in Management. The PGP is comparable in rigor and content to a regular two-year full-time MBA programme offered by global business schools.
Total Seats : ISB will admit about 560 students for Hyderabad and 210 for Mohali.students for 2013-14
Admissions Criteria :
The eligibility criteria are –
- Students must possess an undergraduate/graduate or post-graduate degree in any discipline
- A minimum of two years’ full-time post qualification work experience is preferred. Exceptional candidates with lesser experience will be considered for deferred admission.
- A GMAT score
- TOEFL/IELTS score is required for students from countries other than India, where English is not the primary language of instruction
- All short-listed applicants will be interviewed as a part of the selection process
Application Process :
The ISB’s entire application process is available online and therefore no printed copy of the form is available/accepted. You will therefore need access to an internet enabled computer to apply to the programme. You will also need to scan some documents to be uploaded and will therefore need access to a scanner.
You may scan and upload the following documents as part of the online application in the format specified in the application.
- Photograph
- Passport
- Proof of Income
- Mark sheets/ transcripts
Tuition Fees : Tuition fees can be paid in two instalments; however, the ISB allows a discount on fees paid one time in full.
To apply for the programme, the applicant must:
- Complete the online application (Only online applications are accepted and no printed applications are available)
- Upload colour passport size photograph in Formals (A-4 size sheet in PDF of 200 or 300 dpi)
- Scanned copies of the documents (PDF in 150 or 200 dpi) listed below:
- Passport copy (Main page that shows the number, name, date of birth and citizenship) alongwith a copy of PIO/OCI Card, if any.
- All Academic mark sheets and certificate/s (all mark sheets to be scanned in one single PDF)
- Proof of income (required for parents/spouse if applying for a need based tuition waiver)
- GMAT score report (official or test center / unofficial score copy)
- TOEFL/IELTS scores (if the language of your instruction at the UG level has not been in English)
- Two evaluations/recommendations in the prescribed format available on the application portal
- Payment of Application Fee of INR 3,000 (INR 1,000 only for Re-applicants)
Interview
The completed application will be reviewed by the Admissions Office and applicants shortlisted for an interview. Applicants from overseas location will be interviewed over telephone/Skype VC, if shortlisted.
