Eligibility & Who can benefit :
Candidates applying for the PGCDM should be at least
Graduate (from any discipline) from a recognised University, with a minimum two years of relevant work experience. The medium of instruction is English and the participants are expected to have basic proficiency in computers.

PGCDM seeks a diverse set of participants ranging from the development, corporate and the public sectors
- Development of practitioners, who aspire to rise in the hierarchy and take up responsible management roles in NGOs
- Employees of government departments related to social welfare, rural development and sustainability issues
- Those who aspire to take up employment with funding organisations.
- Corporate intending to prepare talented employees for developing inclusive business strategies
- Professionals undertaking socially relevant activities through the CSR initiatives directly or through partner NGOs.

- Processing fee is Rs. 500 to be paid by Credit Card, Net Banking or Demand Draft favouring ‘S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research’ payable at Mumbai and addressed to the Centre for Education in Social Sector, SPJIMR
- The candidates nominated by their employers should apply to the Institute with a letter from their organisation supporting their candidacy. They will have to submit documents supporting all previous educational qualifications
Selection Process :
Candidates applying for this course should be eager to learn and receptive to engaging with the development sector on a long-term basis. Selection will be based on the following parameters

Given below is the fee structure for PGCDM 2011- 2013. Financial Assistance can be made available to meritorious students.
- Fees are payable at the start of every semester and are inclusive of Library, Internet, Course Material and events
- Accommodation, food expenses will have to be arranged by the participant and is not included in the fee.

Financial Assistance :
The PGCDM is a programme that has emerged out of the need to provide the best quality training to practitioners with a firm commitment to the development sector. SPJIMR proposes to support such participants through academic scholarships. It is expected that the larger ecosystem involving stakeholders like the corporate sector and funding organisations will also get involved in supporting this exclusive initiative by means of instituting scholarships and long-term financial support. Participants can also avail of loans through SPJIMR tie up with Indian Bank.
