{"id":403,"date":"2012-09-24T08:48:46","date_gmt":"2012-09-24T03:18:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eduetc.com\/edu\/?p=403"},"modified":"2013-09-04T20:08:31","modified_gmt":"2013-09-04T14:38:31","slug":"admission-opens-for-post-graduate-programme-in-management-for-senior-executives-pgpmax-in-indian-school-of-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eduetc.com\/edu\/admission-opens-for-post-graduate-programme-in-management-for-senior-executives-pgpmax-in-indian-school-of-business\/","title":{"rendered":"Admission opens for Post Graduate Programme in Management for Senior Executives (PGPMAX) in Indian School of Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Senior Executives (PGPMAX) is designed for senior executives, whose busy schedules do not permit them to pursue a full-time programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is equivalent in content and rigour to an\u00a0Executive MBA\u00a0programme and is designed on a\u00a0schedule\u00a0that minimises disruption of work and personal pursuits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ELIGIBILITY :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To be eligible\u00a0to apply\u00a0for the programme, the following criteria need to be fulfilled:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Bachelor\u2019s Degree:<\/strong>\u00a0The applicant should have a bachelor\u2019s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline. An equivalent qualification will be determined by the admission committee of the programme and will include the likes of CA, ICWA etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Work Experience:<\/strong>\u00a0The applicant should possess a minimum of 10 years of full-time work experience as on date of submitting the application (desired experience is closer to 15 or more years).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Letter of consent from the current employer is required for the candidate to pursue the programme. This can be submitted either during the application process or once admission has been secured.<\/li>\n<li>TOEFL \/ IELTS scores will be required from international participants for whom the language of instruction during\u00a0undergraduate\u00a0education was not English.<\/li>\n<li>GMAT is not required but applicants are encouraged to submit their scores if they have taken GMAT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Selection Procedure :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The PGPMAX office and the admissions committee evaluate each applicant on several criteria to ensure that the participants selected for the programme are wellrounded individuals. Each component of the application and the interview are important. The selection of the participants will be made considering a combination of many factors including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Quantity and quality of work experience e.g. significant responsibility, experience of managing personnel and budgets etc.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of professional success<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Likelihood of benefiting from the programme<\/li>\n<li>Business leadership potential, track-record, traits, attitude\/mindset etc.<\/li>\n<li>Motivation to participate in the programme<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate\u00a0degree performance<\/li>\n<li>Performance in the interview<\/li>\n<li>TOEFL \/ IELTS score (if applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Application Procedure\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The\u00a0online application\u00a0is available on the PGPMAX website. While the decisions for both rounds are announced together, applicants in round 1 get a substantial discount in the application fee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Incomplete applications from round 1 will have to pay the difference of application fee if their application is completed in round 2.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>INTERVIEW\u00a0NOTIFICATION<\/strong><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme office will review completed applications and selected applicants will be shortlisted for an interview. Interview may be conducted in person, over videoconferencing, teleconferencing or via a web\/internet-based tool.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The interview notifications are sent around 7 days before the scheduled interview date. You may contact the programme office or visit the website for details closer to the date.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Application Fees :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An application processing fee needs to be paid (only using a credit card)\u00a0to apply\u00a0to the programme. The fee amount is dependent on the date when the application is submitted. No payment is required to create a user login and start the\u00a0online application. Application fee needs to be paid at the time of submitting the completed application.
