Detail Description :<\/strong><\/td>\n\n

Serial No. 1 : Apprentice in Fitter Trade. Number of vacancy is 195 (UR : 98, OBC : 53, SC : 29, ST : 15), out of which OH : 03, HH : 02.
\nSerial No. 2 : Apprentice in Welder (Gas & Electric) Trade. Number of vacancy is 102 (UR : 51, OBC : 28, SC : 15, ST : 08), out of which OH : 02, HH : 01.
\nSerial No. 3 : Apprentice in Mechanic Machine & Tool Maintenance Trade. Number of vacancy is 19 (UR : 10, OBC : 05, SC : 03, ST : 01).
\nSerial No. 4 : Apprentice in Machinist Trade. Number of vacancy is 17 (UR : 09, OBC : 04, SC : 03, ST : 01), out of which HH : 01.
\nSerial No. 5 : Apprentice in Painter Trade. Number of vacancy is 32 (UR : 16, OBC : 09, SC : 05, ST : 02), out of which OH : 01.
\nSerial No. 6 : Apprentice in Crane Operator Trade. Number of vacancy is 04 (UR : 02, OBC : 01, SC : 01).
\nSerial No. 7 : Apprentice in Electrician Trade. Number of vacancy is 17(UR : 09, OBC : 04, SC : 03, ST : 01), out of which HH : 01.
\nSerial No. 8 : Apprentice in Programming & System Administration Assistant Trade. Number of vacancy is 02 (UR : 01, OBC : 01).
\nFor all posts : Candidates, who have passed Trade Certificate Course in Fitter \/ Welder (Gas & Electric) \/ Mechanic Machine & Tool Maintenance \/ Machinist \/ Painter \/ Crane Operator \/ Electrician \/ Programming & System Administration Assistant Trade from any recognised I.T.I. after passing Matriculation (Class X) or its equivalent examination of any recognised Board \/ Council with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply in concerned trade. Age should have to be between 15 and 24 years as on 01.01.2014. Candidates belonging to OBC, SC \/ ST & PH category will get relaxation in age by 3 years, 5 years & 10 years respectively.<\/p>\n

Mode of Selection :<\/strong><\/td>\nSelection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination as mentioned above. For \u2018Crane Operator\u2019 trade, selected candidates will have to undergo training for a period of 2 years. For \u2018Other\u2019 trades, selected candidates will have to undergo training for a period of 1 year. During this training period, candidates will get stipend as per the instructions issued by the Railway Board.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

How to Apply :<\/strong><\/td>\nCandidates should have to apply on plain A-4 size paper as per the format given below. The duly filled in application should have to be enclosed with the following documents : (1) The duly filled in Call Letter as per the format given below, (2) 2 copies of duly attested passport size recent photographs (1 copy each to be affixed on the top right hand corner of the Application Form & Call Letter), (3) 2 self-addressed envelopes of 11 \u00d7 5 inches size with Postage Stamp of Rs.27\/- affixed thereon. Affixing postage stamp is not required for the candidates belonging to SC \/ ST category, (4) Attested photostat copies of all Certificates & Mark Sheets in support of Date of Birth, Educational Qualification, Caste (for SC \/ ST \/ OBC), Disability (PWD), Discharge (EXSM). The envelope containing the duly filled in application should have to be superscribed as \u2018Application under Apprentice Act, 1961 for the year 2013-14 in Wagon Repair Workshop, Jhansi, North Central Railway\u2019.
