Pay :<\/strong>\u00a0[ For the posts at sl. nos.(1 to 12) (PB\u20133) Rs.7100-37600\/- with Grade Pay Rs.3900\/- and for the\u00a0posts at sl. Nos.(13 to 19) (PB\u20133) Rs.7100-37600\/- with Grade Pay Rs.3600\/- ]. Besides pay, the posts carry\u00a0allowances as admissible.<\/p>\n

The Preliminary<\/strong> Examination will be held in March, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Final Examination<\/strong> will be held in September, 2013<\/strong> or thereabout in Kolkata only and the\u00a0Personality Test in the Commission’s office at Kolkata.<\/p>\n

Fee:<\/strong> \u00a0Candidates must enclose with their applications a fee of `160\/- (Rupees one hundred sixty) only in the\u00a0form of Indian Postal Order which must be purchased on a date after publication of this advertisement and\u00a0crossed and endorsed to THE SECRETARY, PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, WEST BENGAL, or in the form\u00a0of a receipted challan from a Government Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata\u00a0under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal\u00a0Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Orders, Cheques, Bank Drafts, Cash etc. will NOT be accepted.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS :<\/strong>
\ni) A citizen of India or such a person of other nationality declared eligible by Government of India.
\nii) A degree of a recognized University or its equivalent.
\niii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of Nepali\u00a0speaking candidates from hill areas of the District of Darjeeling).
\nAGE :<\/strong>
\nOn 1st January, 2012 \u2013 not below 20 years but not more than 32 years (i.e. born not earlier than 2nd\u00a0January, 1980 and not later than 1st January, 1992). Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC\/ST\u00a0and three years for BC candidates of West Bengal and upto 45 years of age for persons with disabilities (PWD)\u00a0having physical disability of 40% and above.<\/p>\n
