Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) is recruiting 132 boys and girls for the Group C Non-Gazetted posts \u2013\u00a0\u201cHead Constable (Ministerial)\u201d<\/strong>. Qualification:<\/strong>\u00a0Higher Secondary (Class 10+2) pass or equivalent

\nMadhyamik pass with 3yrs of Diploma in Secretarial Practice of Modern Office Practice or Commercial Practice from recognised institutions.
\nEssential Qualification:<\/strong>\u00a0Candidates must have typing ability of minimum 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.\u00a0(For SC\/ST candidates \u2014 25 words per minute \u00a0in English and 20 words per minute \u00a0in Hindi)<\/em>
\nCandidates must have basic knowledge of Computer.<\/p>\n

Physical Standards: \u2014<\/strong>
\nHeight<\/strong>:\u00a0For Male<\/span>\u2014167.5cms;\u00a0For female<\/span>\u2014157cms.
\nChest (Unexpanded\/ Expanded)\u00a0<\/strong>:\u00a0For Male<\/span>\u201481cms\/ 86cms;\u00a0For females<\/span>\u2014 Not applicable.
\nWeight<\/strong>: Proportion to height and age as per medical standards.
\nEye sight:<\/strong>\u00a06\/6 and 6\/9 of two eyes without correction in distant vision.
\n(Cut-off in height and chest for ST and candidates from hilly area region is as per norms. Refer the Advt. for details)<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pay scale:<\/strong>\u00a0Rs.5200\u2014Rs.20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2400<\/p>\n

Age Limits:<\/strong>\u00a0between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 15\/11\/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC\u20143yrs, SC\/ST\u20145yrs, Ex-Serviceman and Others\u2014as per norms.<\/p>\n

Candidates who are found eligible in physical measurement test will have to go through\u00a0Physical Efficiency Test,<\/strong>which will be of followings \u2014
\nFor Males\u2014<\/strong>
\n(i) 800 mtrs race to be completed in 3 minutes<\/em>
\n(ii) 11 ft Long jump in 3 chances.<\/em>
\n(iii) 3.5 ft high jump in 3 chances.<\/em>
\nFor Females\u2014<\/strong>
\n(i) 800 mtrs race to be completed in 4 minutes<\/em>
\n(ii) 8 ft Long jump in 3 chances.<\/em>
\n(iii) 3 ft high jump in 3 chances.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nII) Physical Standard Test ( PST)<\/em>
\nIII) Physical Efficiency Test ( PET)<\/em>
\nIV) Written Examination<\/em>

\nVI) Test of Basic Knowledge in Computer Application<\/em>
\nVII) Medical Examination for fitness test.<\/em>

Self-addressed envelopes (4\u201dx9\u201d) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.25 on each.<\/p>\n
