COURSES <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>FOR THE SESSION 2014-2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The applications for RPET-2014 will be accepted online only. The process of online submission of application<br \/>\nform for RPET-2014 shall be carried out through any of the following websites :-<\/p>\n<p>1. http:\/\/techedu.rajasthan.gov.in \u00a02. www.rpetexam.com 3. www.rpetexam.org<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. ONLINE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM :<\/strong><br \/>\n1.1 RPET-2014 application form is to be submitted online by way of following instructions provided on the web<br \/>\nportal. The candidate must fill, carefully, all details as required in the online application format.<br \/>\n1.2 Duration of submission of the online application form will be from 31.03.2014 to 15.04.2014. However the<br \/>\nlast date for depositing the fees through e-Mitra\/CSC network will be 14.04.2014.<br \/>\n1.3 Candidate is required to upload his\/her recent passport size photograph and signature as per the facility<br \/>\nprovided on the web portal of the online application form. Ensure that the image size of photograph should<br \/>\nnot exceed 100 KB (maximum) in the JPG File format and the image size of Signature should not exceed 50<br \/>\nKB (maximum) in the JPG File format.<br \/>\n1.4 The candidate can edit the details entered by him\/her in the Application format until he\/she clicks the<br \/>\n\u201cSubmit\u201d Button for final submission of application form. Once the candidate clicks the \u201cSubmit\u201d Button,<br \/>\nhe\/she will not be able to edit the entered Data. Therefore, the candidates are advised to click \u201cSubmit\u201d<br \/>\nbutton only and only if he \/ she is sure that the Data entered in the Online Application Format is correct and<br \/>\nno further editing is required.<br \/>\n1.5 The RPET-2014 will not be responsible for any consequence arising out of non-acceptance of any<br \/>\ncorrection\/addition\/deletion of any Data of the application form after clicking the \u201cSubmit\u201d Button.<br \/>\n1.6 Deposition of Application Form Fees : Cost of RPET-2014 Application Form is Rs. 800\/- including the<br \/>\nexamination fees of RPET-2014. Candidates will contact any e-Mitra\/CSC kiosk center authorized by the<br \/>\nGovernment of Rajasthan and deposit a sum of Rs. 815\/- (Rs. 800\/- against Application form Fees and Rs.<br \/>\n15\/- for e-Mitra service charges). This amount is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for future<br \/>\nRPET. The kiosk will generate a 16-digit Token number for the candidate using e-Mitra portal and issue a<br \/>\nreceipt containing this Token number. Candidates are advised to keep this receipt safely with them for<br \/>\nfurther use. In order to activate the online application form for entering the required details, the candidate<br \/>\nmust enter his\/her token no. in the appropriate column of the application form. The online application form<br \/>\nwill not accept entries without his\/her Token number.<br \/>\n1.7 It is compulsory to send the hardcopy(printout) of application form along with the attested copies of relevant<br \/>\ncertificates as mentioned in the check list by Registered post \/ Speed post (not by courier) on the following<br \/>\naddress:-<br \/>\nCoordinator, RPET-2014,<br \/>\nBoard of Technical Education, Rajasthan,<br \/>\nW-6, Residency Road, Jodhpur \u2013 342 032<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nThe same can also be dropped in the drop box kept in the RPET office, Board of Technical Education,<br \/>\nRajasthan, Jodhpur.<\/p>\n<p>The last date of receipt of the printed application form (along with attested copies of relevant certificates) in the<br \/>\nRPET-2014 office is 5.00 PM of 21st April, 2014. The hard copy of the Application Form (RPET-2014) received<br \/>\nafter last date and time shall not be accepted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION :<\/strong><br \/>\nA candidate must ensure that he \/ she is eligible for admission to various Governments aided and private unaided<br \/>\ntechnical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed and Private Universities)<br \/>\nbefore filling up the RPET-2014 Application Form. If a non-eligible candidate is admitted due to any reason then<br \/>\nthe admission of such a candidate will be cancelled as soon as the mistake is detected even at later stage. Various<br \/>\neligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech.\/B.E. course shall be as under:<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.1 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :<\/strong><br \/>\nA. The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech.\/B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with<br \/>\natleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to \u201cSC\/ST\/Non creamy layer OBC\/ Non<br \/>\ncreamy layer SBC\u201d of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the<br \/>\nfinal examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination<br \/>\nrecognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan \/ Central Board of secondary<br \/>\nEducation (CBSE).<br \/>\nB. Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech.\/B.E. courses shall be<br \/>\nas under:<br \/>\nCourse Compulsory Subjects Any one of the Optional Subjects<br \/>\nB.Tech.\/ B.E. Physics &amp; Mathematics (1) Chemistry (2) Bio-technology<br \/>\n(3) Computer Science (4) Biology RPET-2014 : General Instructions Page : 2 \/ 10<\/p>\n<p>C. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination class XII in 2014 will be provisionally<br \/>\npermitted to appear in RPET-2014. Such candidates will only be eligible for subsequent counseling and<br \/>\nadmission, provided that they fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned above. However, all such candidates<br \/>\nwill have to produce the proof of eligibility as above at the time of submission of the prescribed Option<br \/>\nForm \/ reporting in the allotted institute, otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.2 AGE :<\/strong><br \/>\nOnly those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1989 are eligible. However, in the<br \/>\ncase of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disability (PwD) candidates, upper<br \/>\nage limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1984<br \/>\nare eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education marksheet \/ certificate only will be taken<br \/>\nas authentic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.3 MEDICAL FITNESS :<\/strong><br \/>\nA candidate desirous of admission to Engineering Colleges will have to deposit the Medical Fitness<br \/>\nCertificate at the time of reporting in the allotted institution on the prescribed form certified by a Medical<br \/>\nOfficer of the Government of Rajasthan or a Registered Medical Practitioner as per medical standards laid<br \/>\ndown below:<br \/>\n\u2022 Height: Not less than 1.5 m for male candidates and not less than 1.4 m for female candidates.<br \/>\n\u2022 Weight: Not less than 41 kg. for male candidates and 37 kg for female candidates (Approximately).<br \/>\n\u2022 Chest Measurement: Not less than 69 cm with satisfactory limits of expansion and contraction (for<br \/>\nmale candidates only).<br \/>\n\u2022 Heart &amp; Lungs: No abnormality.<br \/>\n\u2022 Hernia, Hydrocele, Piles etc.: Presence of any of these will be a temporary disqualification to be<br \/>\nrectified before joining the courses of study.<br \/>\n\u2022 Vision: Normal. Where defective, it must be corrected to 6\/9 in the better eye and 6\/12 in the worse eye.<br \/>\nEyes should be free from congenital and other diseases. In case of admission to Mining Engineering<br \/>\ncourses, the candidates must be free from colour blindness (inability to distinguish between principal<br \/>\ncolours) also.<br \/>\n\u2022 Hearing: Normal. Where defective, it must be corrected.<br \/>\n\u2022 Speech: Normal.<br \/>\nThe doctor will also have to certify that the candidate is medically fit for engineering profession.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.4 DOMICILE CRITERIA :<\/strong><br \/>\nThe RPET-2014 is open to the candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only. The domicile status of Rajasthan of<br \/>\nany candidate will be ascertained as per any one of the following criteria.<\/p>\n<p>Domicile Category &#8211; A<br \/>\nThe candidate himself \/ herself or any of his \/ her natural parents (father \/ mother) is a bonafide resident of<br \/>\nRajasthan. [Refer Certificate No. 1 (i)]<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nDomicile Category &#8211; B<br \/>\nCandidate has studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educational institutions in Rajasthan<br \/>\nfor the preceding three years up to and including the year in which he\/she has passed \/ appearing the<br \/>\nqualifying examination (i.e. X, XI and XII classes). [Refer Certificate No. 1 (ii)]<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nDomicile Category &#8211; C<br \/>\nCandidate is a son\/daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of any of the following:<br \/>\n[Refer Certificate No. 1(iii)]<br \/>\n(i) Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service borne on the State cadre of<br \/>\nRajasthan).<br \/>\n(ii) Undertakings\/ Corporations\/ Improvement Trusts\/ Municipal Boards\/Panchayat Samities \/ Co-operative<br \/>\nBodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan.<br \/>\n(iii) Statutory Bodies and Corporations formed under the Indian Companies Act incorporated in Rajasthan.<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nDomicile Category &#8211; C<br \/>\nCandidate is a son\/daughter of an employee of any of the Universities in Rajasthan or Board of Secondary<br \/>\nEducation, Rajasthan or Government aided Engineering Colleges of Rajasthan who has put in at least three<br \/>\nyears service on the date of submission of application in any of the above bodies. [Refer Certificate No. 1<br \/>\n(iv)]<br \/>\nOR<\/p>\n<p>RPET-2014 : General Instructions Page : 3 \/ 10<\/p>\n<p>Domicile Category &#8211; C<br \/>\nCandidate is a son\/daughter of an employee of Central Government or Institutions of the Central<br \/>\nGovernment including Public Sector Undertakings or Corporations and who is on the regular rolls and is<br \/>\nserving in the State of Rajasthan on the date of application. [Refer Certificate No. 1 (v)]<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nDomicile Category &#8211; C<br \/>\nCandidate is a son\/daughter of an employee of Rajasthan origin, serving in Defence\/Central Government<br \/>\nservices\/Public Sector undertakings\/National Institutes of Government of India, who has put in at least three<br \/>\nyears service on the last date for submission of application irrespective of his\/her place of posting provided a<br \/>\ncertificate is submitted by the employee from the employer to this effect stating the State of origin and the<br \/>\nhome town as given by him\/her at the time of his\/her entry into service. [Refer Certificate No. 1 (vi)]<\/p>\n<p>Note:<br \/>\n1. Ex-Servicemen (Ex-S) and the Defence Killed (DK) persons should be of Rajasthan origin for eligibility<br \/>\nof their children in these categories. The State of origin and home town as entered in the discharge<br \/>\ncertificate shall only be accepted as proof in respect of the above. A copy of discharge certificate and<br \/>\nPPO must necessarily be enclosed to seek reservation\/ relaxation in this category. The discharge<br \/>\ncertificate and PPO must be produced in original at the time of Counseling.<\/p>\n<p>For the wards of defence personnel from other State but serving in the State of Rajasthan, the domicile<br \/>\ncondition is waved off to enable them to appear in the entrance test and be selected in general quota.<br \/>\nHowever, they would not be eligible for Ex-S\/DK category.<\/p>\n<p>2. Sons\/daughters of the displaced persons from Jammu &amp; Kashmir (KM) shall be eligible for admission to<br \/>\nEngineering Colleges through RPET-2014. The candidate has to submit a certificate from the competent<br \/>\nauthority as a proof of being son\/daughter of a displaced person from Jammu &amp; Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. RESERVATION OF SEATS :<\/strong><br \/>\nAs prescribed by the Govt. of Rajasthan (except in case of Private unaided Institutions and 50% seats in the self<br \/>\nfinance course of the aided institutions) the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory<br \/>\nprovisions of the State of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates, 21% for candidates<br \/>\nbelonging to non-creamy layer OBC category and 1% for non-creamy layer SBC candidates.<\/p>\n<p>Provision will also be made for horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates belonging to physically<br \/>\nhandicap(PwD), 25% for women category and 3% for dependants of Defence Killed\/Ex-servicemen \/ Gallantry<br \/>\naward winners.<\/p>\n<p>Priority for Category of Defence Persons will be as follows :<br \/>\nCode Category<br \/>\nEXS1 Killed in action<br \/>\nEXS2 Disabled in action and boarded out from service\/Died while in service with death attributable to<br \/>\nmilitary service\/Disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service<br \/>\nEXS3 Gallantry award winners<br \/>\nEXS4 Ex-Servicemen<br \/>\nReservation of girls in this category : 50% of the reserved seats in this category are earmarked for the girls.<\/p>\n<p>KM Category : 5% of total intake capacity over and above the sanctioned strength in each of the institutions will<br \/>\nbe reserved for Kashmiri migrants. Sons\/daughter of the displaced persons from Jammu &amp; Kashmir shall be<br \/>\neligible for admission to Engineering colleges through RPET-2014. The candidate has to submit a certificate from<br \/>\nthe competent authority as a proof to being son\/daughter of displaced person from Jammu &amp; Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p>Acronyms of various categories are as follow:<br \/>\nCategory-I Category-II<br \/>\nGEN \u2013 General Ex-S \u2013 Ex Serviceman<br \/>\nSC \u2013 Scheduled Caste PwD \u2013 Person with Disability (Physically Handicapped)<br \/>\nST \u2013 Scheduled Tribe KM \u2013 Kashmiri Migrants<br \/>\nOBC \u2013 Non creamy layer Other Backward Classes<br \/>\nSBC \u2013 Non creamy layer Special Backward Classes<\/p>\n<p>Definition of SC \/ ST \/ Non creamy layer OBC \/ Non creamy layer SBC Category : The benefit of<br \/>\nreservation under SC \/ ST \/ Non creamy layer OBC \/ Non creamy layer SBC category shall be available only to<br \/>\nthe candidates of the castes as notified under Presidential order for the State of Rajasthan, for which, the<br \/>\ncertificate should be issued by the competent authority as mentioned in Certificate No. 2. However for claiming<br \/>\nthe benefit in non creamy layer OBC\/ non creamy layer SBC category, the candidate will also have to furnish an<br \/>\nundertaking in the prescribed Performa as given in Certificate No. 2.<\/p>\n<p>It is further clarified that candidates belonging to creamy layer OBC\/ creamy layer SBC category are not<br \/>\nentitled for reservation benefits and shall be treated in General category, therefore, creamy layer OBC \/ creamy<br \/>\nlayer SBC candidates should fill General category in their application form. RPET-2014 : General Instructions Page : 4 \/ 10<\/p>\n<p>Exact number of seats in various branches (Seat Matrix) will be notified through web site before counseling.<\/p>\n<p>Note : For seeking the benefit of reservation in any category, sufficient documentary proof must be submitted<br \/>\nalong with the Application Form (the formats of certificates for various reservation categories are available on<br \/>\nthe websites). Category once indicated at the time of submission of application form along with documentary<br \/>\nproof will not be changed afterwards in any case.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. COST OF RPET-2014 APPLICATION FORM :<\/strong><br \/>\n4.1 The cost of RPET-2014 Application Form is Rs. 800\/-. It also includes the RPET-2014 examination fees.<br \/>\n4.2 This amount deposited for RPET-2014 is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for future RPET.<br \/>\n4.3 A plea that the candidate failed to receive the information for appearing in the RPET-2014 will not be<br \/>\naccepted as a ground for the refund of this amount or any other dues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING RPET-2014 ONLINE APPLICATION FORM<\/strong><br \/>\nThe applications for RPET-2014 will be accepted online only. The process of online submission of application<br \/>\nform for RPET-2014 shall be carried out through any of the following websites :-<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. http:\/\/techedu.rajasthan.gov.in 2. www.rpetexam.com 3. www.rpetexam.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Date of commencement for filling of the online application : <strong>31-03-2014<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Last Date of depositing the fees through e-Mitra\/CSC network : <strong>14-04-2014<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Date of closure for filling of the online application : 15-04-2014<\/strong><br \/>\nDetailed instructions with regards to filling up of online application form and other related<br \/>\ninformation are given on the web sites.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must perform following activities while submitting the online application form :<\/p>\n<p>Step-1 : Deposition of Application Form Fees.<br \/>\ni. Scanned image of his\/her Photograph in jpg format (image size Maximum upto 100 KB)<br \/>\nii. Scanned image of his\/her Signature in jpg format (image size Maximum upto 50 KB)<br \/>\niii. Copy of mark sheets of X, XI and XII (if passed already) examination.<br \/>\niv. Receipt issued by eMitra\/CSC kiosk containing the Token Number.<br \/>\nv. Mobile no. of the candidate or nearest relative.<\/p>\n<p>Step-3 : Filling of Online Application form.<br \/>\ni. Candidate must read instructions of filling the online application form carefully.<br \/>\nii. The entries of online application form must be filled as required.<br \/>\niii. Candidate should ensure that the photo and signature are same as uploaded by the candidate himself.<br \/>\niv. The changes (if required) will be allowed in online application form before final submission.<br \/>\nv. Web page will not accept any changes after final submission of online application form.<\/p>\n<p>Step-4: Taking Printouts in Hardcopy only after final submission of online application form.<br \/>\ni. Candidate will take printout of application form which will be generated by the web portal after final<br \/>\nsubmission<\/p>\n<p>Step-5 : Submission of Application Form (Hardcopy) to the RPET-2014 office.<br \/>\ni. Attach all required documents as mentioned in checklist given in General Instruction. Write application form<br \/>\nno. on each document.<br \/>\nii. It is compulsory to send the application form (hardcopy) along with photocopy of documents to the<br \/>\nfollowing address through REGISTERED \/ SPEED POST (not through courier) :<\/p>\n<p>The Coordinator RPET-2014,<br \/>\nBoard of Technical Education, Rajasthan<br \/>\nW-6, Residency Road,<br \/>\nJodhpur \u2013 342 032<\/p>\n<p>The hard copy of the application form duly signed by the candidate along with requisite documents must<br \/>\nreach at above address latest by 5.00 P.M. of 21st April, 2014 irrespective of the fact that whether<br \/>\n21st April, 2014 is a working day or not. The hard copy of the Application Form (RPET-2014) received after<br \/>\nlast date and time shall not be accepted.<br \/>\niii. RPET-2014 : General Instructions Page : 5 \/ 10<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. ENCLOSURES TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH RPET-2014 APPLICATION FORM :<\/strong><br \/>\n6.1 An attested copy of Certificate \/ Marksheet of High School \/ Secondary bearing Date of Birth of the<br \/>\ncandidate.<br \/>\n6.2 An attested copy of Mark sheet of 10+2 Examination, as a proof of having passed the qualifying<br \/>\nexamination. In case of result of XII is awaited, photo copy of admission card of XII Examination-2014 is<br \/>\nto be enclosed.<br \/>\n6.3 An attested copy of relevant certificate necessary for claiming reservation. (Refer Certificate No. 2 to 6 as<br \/>\napplicable)<br \/>\n6.4 An attested copy of the relevant domicile certificate whichever is applicable [Refer Certificate No. 1(i) to<br \/>\n1(vi)].<\/p>\n<p>Note : To avail benefit of domicile, reservation etc., the candidate will have to produce the requisite<br \/>\ncertificate(s). For the convenience of candidates formats of such certificates are available on the websites.<\/p>\n<p>7. INFORMATION REGARDING APPLICATION FORM :<br \/>\nCandidates are advised to visit the authorized web sites regularly for status of application and other details which<br \/>\nare to be uploaded by the RPET from time to time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. ADMISSION CARD FOR RPET-2014 :<\/strong><br \/>\nAdmission Card for RPET-2014 will be uploaded on web portal of RPET-2014. No admission card will be sent<br \/>\npersonally to the candidate. The Coordinator RPET-2014 reserve the right to withdraw the permission<br \/>\ngranted by mistake to a candidate who is not eligible to appear at the RPET-2014 even though the<br \/>\nAdmission Card has been issued and produced by the candidate before the Centre Superintendent of<br \/>\nRPET-2014.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. EXAMINATION SCHEME :<\/strong><br \/>\nRPET-2014 shall consist of single examination of three hours duration containing 40 objective type questions in<br \/>\neach of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry &amp; Mathematics. The total no. of questions will be 120 carrying one<br \/>\nmark each. There is no negative marking for wrong answer. The questions in the test booklet will be in Hindi as<br \/>\nwell as in English. However, in case of any difference in Hindi &amp; English versions of question, the questions in<br \/>\nEnglish version shall be treated as valid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATION :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>RPET-2014 will be conducted on 21st MAY, 2014 (Wednesday) from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon. The Schedule<br \/>\nof the Test will be:<\/p>\n<p>Candidates should report to the examination centre 08.30 A.M.<br \/>\nCommencement of the examination 09.00 A.M.<br \/>\nNo Candidate will be permitted after 09.30 A.M.<br \/>\nCandidates will not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before 12.00 Noon<\/p>\n<p><strong>11. UNFAIR MEANS :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Warning: The candidates are warned that with the promulgation of Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of<br \/>\nUnfair Means) Act, 1992 by the Government of Rajasthan vide Extraordinary Gazette Notification dated 11th<\/p>\n<p>November 1992, the use of unfair means at a public examination is an offence under the law and accordingly the<br \/>\nperson(s) found guilty of resorting to or using unfair means at the RPET- 2014 can be punished with<br \/>\nimprisonment for a term which may extend up to 3 years or with fine which may extend up to Rupees Two<br \/>\nthousand or with both.<\/p>\n<p>11.1 The following acts shall be considered as unfair means:<br \/>\n\u2022 Possession of any objectionable material.<br \/>\n\u2022 Tearing of the Question Paper Booklet or any part thereof including answer sheets.<br \/>\n\u2022 Any attempt by candidate to obtain any information about question(s) set in any examination paper or<br \/>\ncommunication with any candidate in the examination hall.<br \/>\n\u2022 Communication by the candidate with any person concerned with the examination work with the<br \/>\nintention of influencing him\/her for the award of marks.<br \/>\n\u2022 Communication by the candidate with any person with the intention of obtaining information about<br \/>\nthe marks secured before declaration of the RPET-2014 result.<br \/>\n\u2022 Any activity by the candidate, which in the opinion of the Invigilator is likely to give unfair<br \/>\nadvantage to him\/her.<br \/>\n\u2022 Refusal\/Resistance by the candidate for search to find out whether he\/she possesses any objectionable<br \/>\nmaterial. RPET-2014 : General Instructions Page : 6 \/ 10<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Taking away the Question Paper Booklet and\/or Main Copy and first carbon copy of the answer sheet<br \/>\noutside the examination hall.<\/p>\n<p>11.2 If a complaint is lodged against a candidate that he\/she used or attempted to use unfair means in the<br \/>\nexamination, the matter shall be placed before the Unfair Means Committee to be appointed by the<br \/>\nChairperson, Centralised Admission Coordination Committee (CACC) for recommendation and<br \/>\naccordingly the matter will be decided.<\/p>\n<p><strong>12. EVALUATION AND DECLARATION OF RESULT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12.1 Merit will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidate in RPET-2014.<br \/>\n12.2 Cut off Percentage will be decided by the Centralised Admission Coordination Committee (CACC) before<br \/>\ndeclaration of result. However, percentage of passing for SC &amp; ST candidates will be 5% less than that for<br \/>\nother categories. In the event if vacancies exist in SC \/ ST category, the vacancies of SC category can be<br \/>\nfilled by ST candidates and vice versa.<br \/>\n12.3 The merit of a candidate in RPET-2014 will be conveyed through website and notice board of RPET.<br \/>\n12.4 The marks sheet shall be dispatched by post, soon after the publication of RPET merit list. In case a<br \/>\ncandidate does not receive the marks sheet within two weeks of publication of merit list, for any reason<br \/>\nwhatsoever, he\/she should write to the Coordinator RPET-2014 for another copy which shall be issued on<br \/>\npayment of Rs. 100\/- by Bank Draft in favour of the Coordinator RPET-2014 payable at Jodhpur.<br \/>\n12.5 The merit of the candidates securing equal marks in aggregate in the RPET-2014 will be decided in the<br \/>\nfollowing order :<br \/>\na) The marks obtained in Mathematics in RPET-2014 will determine the relative merit of such<br \/>\ncandidates.<br \/>\nb) In case of marks in Mathematics also being equal, the marks obtained in Physics at RPET-2014 will<br \/>\ndetermine the merit.<br \/>\nc) In case there is a tie on the basis of the above criteria, the relative merit will be decided by the age of<br \/>\nthe candidate. The candidate of higher age (older candidate) will be placed on higher merit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>13. RE-EVALUATION \/ RE-TOTALLING :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The candidates will have to make request on plain paper giving details such as Roll No, Name, Centre etc. to the<br \/>\nCoordinator RPET-2014 within 07 days (Seven days) from the display of ANSWER KEYS of RPET-2014 (on<br \/>\nRPET Notice Board) and on payment of Rs. 100\/- by Bank Draft in favour of the Coordinator RPET-2014<br \/>\npayable at Jodhpur.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The answer sheets of the test shall not be subject to production before any Court (Civil or Criminal) or<br \/>\nbefore the candidate or anybody else on his \/ her behalf or before any internal or external authority.<br \/>\n\u2022 The answer sheets of candidates shall be preserved only for 3 months from the date of publication of the<br \/>\nRPET-2014 merit list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>14. FEE STRUCTURE :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pursuant to the judgment dated 14-8-2003 of Hon\u2019ble Supreme Court in the case titled as Islamic Academy of<br \/>\nEducation V\/s State of Karnataka, the State Government has constituted a State Level Fee Committee for<br \/>\ndetermination of fee structure for various technical courses including degree Engineering courses. As per the<br \/>\ndirections of the State Level Fees Committee the interim fee structure for Degree Engineering courses for the<br \/>\nsession- 2013-2014 is as mentioned in Annexure-1<\/p>\n<p>The fee committee has yet not approved final fee structure for academic year 2014-2015. Further, it may be<br \/>\nnoted that the fee structure for the session 2014-2015 will be finalized shortly by the State Level Fee Committee.<br \/>\nThe candidates are required to pay the fee as prescribed by the Committee. The fee once deposited by the<br \/>\ncandidate for admission will not be refunded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>15. ADMISSION PROCEDURE :<\/strong><br \/>\n15.1 Candidates eligible after declaration of RPET-2014 result will be required to fill option form for the<br \/>\npurpose of admission. The detailed direction \/ guidelines and schedule will be issued by the Coordinator,<br \/>\nRPET-2014 later on. Subsequently the candidate will have to deposit Rs. 10000\/- at the time of filling the<br \/>\noption form. The admissions will be carried out on the basis of merit in RPET-2014, the order of options<br \/>\nfilled in by the candidates in the option form and seats available in respective institute. The candidates are<br \/>\nadvised to exercise their options very carefully.<\/p>\n<p>The allotment of institute and branch will be carried out through the computer software by strictly<br \/>\nfollowing the order of merit, seats available and the order of options filled in by the candidate. No<br \/>\ncorrection will be allowed in the Option Form once submitted. No admission shall be made after the date<br \/>\nas fixed by Chairperson, CACC RPET-2014. RPET-2014 : General Instructions Page : 7 \/ 10<\/p>\n<p>Candidates are advised in their own interest to secure latest information regarding the admission from the<br \/>\nauthorised web site of RPET and Notice Board of Coordinator RPET-2014. The non-receipt of<br \/>\ncommunication to the candidate from Coordinator RPET-2014, Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan,<br \/>\nJodhpur will not be accepted as a ground for not submitting the Option Form or non-reporting in the<br \/>\nallotted institute on the scheduled time and date. The candidate&#8217;s allotment shall stand automatically<br \/>\ncancelled if he\/she does not report IN PERSON to the allotted institute as per schedule. In such case<br \/>\nhis\/her registration with RPET-2014 will be cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>15.2 Candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination (10+2) of 2014 will have to submit the<br \/>\nattested photocopy of the mark sheet of passing the qualifying examination (with required percentage as<br \/>\nper eligibility norms) with Option Form, failing which his\/her Option Form will not be accepted and the<br \/>\ncandidature will be cancelled automatically.<\/p>\n<p>15.3 Adjustment of the amount Rs. 10000\/- deposited with the Option Form :<br \/>\na. This amount will be adjusted against fees for those candidates who have been allotted by RPET-2014<br \/>\nand reported in the allotted institute.<br \/>\nb. This amount will be refunded to only those candidates who have not allotted any institute by RPET-<br \/>\n2014 (Choice Exhausted).<br \/>\nc. If a seat is allotted to a candidate as per his\/her options &amp; merit and if he\/she does not report in the<br \/>\nallotted institute, then this amount will be forfeited (i.e. not refunded in any case).<\/p>\n<p>Note : In case of any other mode of counseling, separate instructions \/ guidelines will be provided to the<br \/>\nstudents through Newspapers, Website etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>16. VALIDITY OF ADMISSION :<\/strong><br \/>\n16.1 Admission of the candidate will be provisional till the eligibility\/enrolment certificate is issued by the<br \/>\nconcerned University.<br \/>\n16.2 If for reasons to be recorded in writing, the CACC suspects that a particular candidate has obtained a<br \/>\ncertificate by misrepresenting or concealing the material facts, the matter will be referred to the competent<br \/>\nauthority(ies). On receipt of the report, the CACC would take the final decision regarding the admission of<br \/>\nthe candidate. His\/Her admission will be treated as provisional during this period.<br \/>\n16.3 Permission to appear in RPET-2014 shall not guarantee for fulfilling eligibility criteria for admission and<br \/>\nonly the eligible candidates will be considered for counseling and subsequent admission as per norms.<\/p>\n<p>17. DEPOSITION OF FEES AND ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS :<br \/>\nAt the time of reporting in the allotted institute, the candidates will have to deposit all original documents,<br \/>\ncertificates and a specified amount towards fee. The allotted institute would check the documents and other<br \/>\nrequired certificates with originals. If the admission is granted, the amount would not be returned \/ refunded<br \/>\nunder any circumstances.
